on-repeat is the most comprehensive music companion app. What does "companion" mean? It means the app complements what's missing in other music apps. It dives deep into everything about music — from your listening stats, insights, social/friending features and playlist management to detailed song/artist/album metadata, radio, music challenges/games, widgets, and so much more. All of this makes it truly comprehensive. I listen to music every moment I'm awake, so I understand what music lovers really want. on-repeat is built to fill the gaps that other apps leave behind and to bring the features people have been asking for. It's also community-driven. I always listen to your feedback and genuinely care about improving the experience. I've seen many developers abandon their apps over time — but I won't. I'm here for the long run. on-repeat will be the biggest and most long-term app of my life. I'm pouring my whole heart into it. It's all or nothing—I'll either make it, or go down trying.

Generally, I want to support all music platforms — every place where music lovers are. Specifically, I really want to support Spotify, which is the biggest music platform today. But unfortunately, Spotify recently changed its API policy. The API is the bridge that connects our app to your Spotify data. Now, their API has become extremely strict. It requires an app to have at least 250,000 daily active users just to access it. Pretty wild, right? Because of this, we currently can’t integrate with Spotify or fetch your data from it. I’m really sorry about that. I’m doing my best to meet Spotify’s requirements. Hopefully, they will revise the policy in the future. Or... you could help us reach that crazy number by inviting your friends and family to use the app 😅 Apple Music is the next largest platform and provides a more accessible API, so it’s currently the best option for us.

That’s right, the app isn’t available yet. I’m just a one-person team, working on this at night after my 9-to-5 job. The app is being built completely from scratch, so bringing all the features listed above may take quite a while. But don't worry, I’ll release them one by one as they’re ready. I’m doing my best and working hard to bring On-Repeat to life. Your support means a lot. Join the waitlist to be the first to know when new features are released.

Initially, on-repeat will focus on Apple Music users since it's the second largest platform. We plan to gradually expand to support SoundCloud, Tidal, Deezer, and other platforms. Unfortunately, Spotify integration is currently limited due to their API restrictions, but we're hopeful this will change in the future.

Absolutely! I’ll do my best to keep as many features free as possible. Only features that require server storage, constant hosting, and regular updates will need a Premium plan.

Yes, On-Repeat is starting with mobile — iOS first, then Android. We also plan to bring it to Mac, Windows, and even as a Chrome extension. But since I’m a one-person team, I can’t build for every platform all at once. It will take some time. Still, I want On-Repeat to be available wherever you listen to music. The journey begins on mobile, but the goal is to bring it to all platforms over time.
